Happily Ever After

I am Shannon Vandermark and I want to crack open the lid on taboo subjects such as infertility, pregnancy loss and involuntary childlessness. I want you to know that even after suffering the most devastating losses imaginable, happiness is still possible. I think silence and isolation can be meditative and healthy but speaking and sharing time with others who have been where you have been can be incredibly healing and life-changing.

Deciding to stop trying for a baby does not imply ‘giving up’. It means you are taking back control of your life and your happiness.

Sometimes the intension to find happiness after grief can seem an insurmountable task. The first step is recognising what you want and being open to finding resources that can help. I offer one-on-one coaching to clients all over the world. I run support groups in Central London. I host a podcast that delves into all of the messy emotions that are tied up in fertility challenges but offers hope that happiness is still possible.

We don’t need to be married or mothers to be complete. We get to determine our own ‘happily ever after’ for ourselves.
